The trash
When you move the pointer over a site from the result list, a trash-shaped button
appears on the left-hand side of the screen. When you click it, the corresponding
page is stored and will be filtered for the next queries.
To remove a site from the trash, edit the filter by clicking on the pen next to the filter’s title. Then, select
the icon opposite the chosen site.

The parental filter
The parental filter allows you to block sites that sites that may offend some users. This
filter is available for the results from the search engine only (and not for customized
results). UJIKO also proposes a customized parental filter so that you can be more
selective concerning the sites to prohibit.

Customized filters
You can create your own filters to ban some pages from the results or, on the contrary,
to mark them.
There are 5 types of filters:
Domain Filter
It enables you to mark or prohibit sites from a specific domain. For instance, enter
".org .edu" to filter all sites which URL ends by one of those two domains.
Word Description Filter
It allows you to mark or prohibit sites which title or description includes some
specific words. Enter for instance “free gratis” to filter all results containing
those words.
Page Filter
It allows you to mark or prohibit some specific URL. Enter for example
"www.kartoo.com www.kartoo.net/flash.php3" to filter those two pages.
Site Filter
It makes possible marking or prohibiting all pages from a site. For example, enter
"www.kartoo www.ujiko" to filter all pages beginning with those letters,
especially www.kartoo.com, www.kartoo.net, www.kartoo.org/info, www.ujiko.com,
etc.
Word URL Filter
It allows you to mark or prohibit all pages which address includes specific sign
chains. I.e., enter “kartoo ujiko” to filter pages such as www.kartoo.com,
kartoo.com, www.ujiko.com, www.ujiko.com/kartoo.html, etc.

Create a customized filter
Choose the “New Filter” option in the “Filter” menu. A form then appears. The
filter’s type can be chosen thanks to the first pull-down menu. The name you
give to the filter will appear in the “Filter” menu for any activation
or deactivation control. The “Filter” field contains the words to locate.
Finally, the pull-down menu in the bottom allows you to choose between
prohibiting the filtered sites or, on the contrary, marking them with different colors.
